Are You Even Doing This For Your Conversion Rates?
Getting targeted traffic is only half the battle; the other half is getting conversions to sales. Would you rather have a website that is guaranteed (play along) to convert, or one that does not convert but has a thousand visitors a day? Hint: Getting traffic is easier. There are some business activities that should never be put to rest, and optimizing and testing for better conversion rates is one of them. If you're satisfied with your conversions, then we guess you don't need to read this; however, if that is not you, then you may want to continue reading.Check out : G Headshot, G Headshot Review and G Headshot Bonus
Decades of experience shows very clearly that if you can get an audience to read your sales or marketing material multiple times in a relatively short period, then you will experience higher conversion rates. The primary reason for this is that you will have developed a relationship with them, and they arrive at a point where they trust you more. Naturally before any of that can happen you'll need to find a way to keep in touch with them. However as powerful as it is, hundreds of thousands of online marketers will ignore doing it. Not hard, really, just ask them for their email and name - first name is fine. Many decades of experience, yes even before the internet, indicates that people will be likely to convert after roughly half a dozen times of reading what you send them.
But you do have to build a good relationship with them, otherwise you may have disappointing results. One semi-sneaky trick is to Google your keywords, then just look at the highest ranked sites for your niche, and then you'll see how successful sites place their optin boxes, etc. Some sales pages make use of popups, fade-ins, slide-ins, and all kinds of techniques. Have you thought about using a landing page to gather optins? If not, then you should because they work extremely well if it's done in the proper manner. The most important thing about this discussion is that list building can become very profitable, but you do need to have some idea about them.
One of the best things you can do is work to build trust with your audience. People are so used to the impersonality of the web that if you put your home/office phone number plus your home/office address visible on your site - that will make them take notice of you. Actions like that demonstrate to people that you are real, and therefore maybe more likely to be trusted. If you saw that, wouldn't it give you a better impression and better overall feeling about that person? We think so.
Don't be shy about telling people, again, the offer and how good it is as well as the guarantee "in the order form." Be sure to test all you can, and try these strategies because a good percentage of potential customers leave your order form without ordering. So you can reassure them that they are getting a great offer, and all the risk has been taken away.
All of this takes time, so it's important to be patient unless you can outsource it.
